A Queen City Riverboats Charter Cruise is the perfect venue for your company's next outing, or your next family/group event. Our staff is ready to meet your needs to make your charter and enjoyable and memorable experience. We hope you can use the information provided on this site to help you begin to plan your event with us.
First thing to do when planning your event is to decide how many people are expected to attend. This information helps us to plan your cruise in many ways. It allows us to determine which boat would best serve your needs, and allows us to begin the pricing process. Next, you should work with our sales office to determine a date and time for your cruise. We book our cruises on a first come first serve basis, so this should be done as soon as possible. Once these details have been decided, you can plan the menu for your cruise, decide on a Beverage Package, and plan your entertainment. After that is complete, we can work on special arrangements to ensure your cruise will be the best experience possible.
Our vessels are available for charter at any time of day, March through December, so long as they are not scheduled for another event. A typical charter is three hours, however your charter's length can be adjusted to fit your needs. No matter your cruise time, boarding begins 30 minutes prior to your cruise. Early boarding for decoration or other setup can be arranged with our office if needed.
Most of our charters embark from our landing in Dayton, Kentucky, but we do have other boarding locations available at an additional charge. Our landing has plenty of free and well lit parking available, and directions can be found at our website.
Groups 50 Passengers or Less
Below are the prices for groups of 50 or less. The price includes the charter price for a 3 hour cruise, plus the price for your selected menu.
Sunday-Thursday
- Queen City Clipper: $1000.00 + Per Person Menu Price
- Spirit of Cincinnati: $600.00 + Per Person Menu Price
Friday-Saturday
- Queen City Clipper: $1200.00 + Per Person Menu Price
- Spirit of Cincinnati: $800.00 + Per Person Menu Price
Additional Cruise Time
Additional cruise time can be purchased at the following rates.
- Queen City Clipper: $400.00 Per Hour
- Spirit of Cincinnati: $300.00 Per Hour
Boarding will take place at Queen City Landing in Dayton, KY, approximately 30 minutes prior to your cruise time. Other boarding locations are available at an additional charge.
Queen City Riverboats is the only excursion boat company in the area that will allow our customers to provide their own caterer. If you choose this option, there is a $5.00 per person service charge.
Gratuity is not included.
All rates are subject to 6% Kentucky Sales Tax, as well as a 15% Service Charge.

Groups of Over 50 Passengers
For groups of 50 or more, our charter price is included with the menu price. You can find the prices listed below with the Cruise Menus. Boarding will take place at Queen City Landing in Dayton, KY, approximately 30 minutes prior to your cruise time. Other boarding locations are available at an additional charge.
Queen City Riverboats is the only excursion boat company in the area that will allow our customers to provide their own caterer. If you choose this option, your price can be estimated by adding $5.00 per person to the non-food charter price.
